VEHICLE RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS Accident & Damage The renter is fully responsible for any accident, self-damage, collision, scratches, dents, or other damage occurring during the rental period. Insurance Settlement Like Rentals & Tours does not arrange or guarantee insurance settlements for accidents or vehicle damage. Any costs or expenses arising from an accident or damage are the renter’s responsibility. Tyre Condition All tyres are checked and provided in good condition at the time of rental. Tyre Puncture / Damage If a tyre is punctured or damaged due to nails, metal, rocks, sharp objects, potholes, or other road hazards while driving, the renter is responsible for the repair or replacement cost. Speed Limit • Normal roads: Maximum 90 km/h • Highways: Maximum 110 km/h The renter must always follow the applicable Sri Lankan traffic laws and posted speed limits. Traffic Fines & Penalties All traffic fines, parking fines, penalties, and other charges caused during the rental period are the renter’s responsibility. Careful Driving The renter must drive safely and responsibly. Any damage caused by careless, reckless, or improper driving will be charged to the renter. Vehicle Return The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received, allowing for normal wear and tear.
